Crazyness

The last few weeks have been insane. Literally. Good news, we got our basement windows put in! Yay!!! They look so good and now I'm not so paranoid about a fire, but am more paranoid about burglars. I am warped and think the window well would be a great place to hide and break into a house. Just thought I'd put that out there because I'm paranoid and warped. (As I said before.) Anyway....

Things were going well after that, until everyone got sick. I had puking kids for a week, and then I got sick! On top of that, Haiden got really ill and we had to take her to the ER earlier this week and were told she had appendicitis. So, out that came. Poor girl had to spend the night at the hospital. We got her home Wednesday, she took a short nap, and then I had to chase her down and pry her off the swing set. She was obviously feeling better. It has been difficult to keep her still and resting! We were going to take her out of school and let her be done for the year, but she has one week left and is making me crazy, so off to school she goes!

Jordan sang a solo of "Maybe" from the musical Annie. She did SUCH a good job! I cried, because I'm the mom and I can do that. We also had the school concert that I have been working my rear off to play the accompaniment for. 19 Broadway songs later...it was wonderful! The kids did a great job and I think the parents really enjoyed it. It was a very fun thing, but one that I will not be volunteering for again!

I've been depressed and overwhelmed the last few months and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! I'm hoping to get through this last week of school and then have some breathing room!
