Skylar started soccer this week, and he is such a great player! I can tell he's missed it over the winter and is so glad to be out there playing the sport. So far they have tied both their games, but they have a really good team and will go far this season! Jordan is going to be playing softball and Holden is going to be playing t-ball. They are both so excited and can't hardly stand the wait for practices to begin. It will be good to get all those mitts and bats out of storage and put them to good use! Haiden is herself. She's still having boundary issues, still having tantrum issues, and still having independence issues. I appreciate her independent fiery spirit, but sometimes being 5 and trying to be 30 doesn't work out really well.

We also planted cucumber and zucchini seeds a few weeks ago. They sprouted nicely and grew and grew in our little indoor growing tray. The little kids woudln't leave them alone though, and broke a bunch of them off, so we got to start over yesterday. Good thing they grow fast and the packages contain quite a few seeds! If the next ones die I'm giving up and buying the plants 1/2 grown.

We are trying to work it out so we can make it to one of his games - don't tell him unless it doesn't work out. We'd like to just show up at a game and surprise him!

My hollyhock seeds won't sprout!!! Daryl says they're a weed so I don't know what my problem is!!!
