I've added a little side bar to my blog. It's my Thankful list. Let me explain a little why this is important to me. Over the summer, our family put up a poster of a beehive and made little bees with the values of President Gordon B. Hinckley's "Be's." There were originally 6, 3 more were added to make 9. They are: Be smart, Be true, Be prayerful, Be grateful, Be positive, Be humble, Be clean, Be involved, Be still. The one that had the most profound effect on me, was Be grateful. It is very easy to lose sight of the blessings in our lives when everything is falling down around us. But, if we can find just one little thing to be grateful for, we are reminded of our blessings and the other be's come easily after that. The more grateful we are, the more positive we become, the more humble we become, the more prayerful we become, the more still we become, etc, etc. SO, because November is the month of Thanksgiving, I'm going to try each day to find somethng to be grateful for, even if it's something as dumb as the kids putting the cap on the toothpaste! (because really, that would be a miracle!) I hope everyone can find little things to be grateful for this month!
